The show is about two brothers, Huey and Riley Freeman, who move to the suburbs to live with their grandfather. The brothers have different personalities, with Huey being politically motivated and Riley being a stereotypical Black youth. The show features biting socio-political commentary as the brothers navigate a mainly white middle upper class neighborhood. Here are some of the episodes from the first season: Robert falls in love with a prostitute: Robert falls in love with Cristal, a young woman who moves in with the family, but he doesn't realize she's a prostitute. Martin Luther King comes out of a coma: Huey helps Martin Luther King readjust after he wakes up from a 32-year coma, but Dr. King finds that his peaceful philosophy is no longer accepted in America. The Boondocks ran from 2005–2014 and was based on the original Boondocks comic strip.
